Sorry that I didn’t
Do that thing I said I’d do
I didn’t get around to it
Because I didn’t want to
It’s not that I am lazy
(Though you could say that of me)
But I really see no purpose
In being as busy as a bee
It’s hard to really care about
A task that’s wearisome
When there are so many vices
To which I could succumb
So spare me all your judgments
About my attitude
And let me get straight back
To a state of hebetude
You’re really not that dull at all, as everyone has seen
we know you’re so much sharper, and sometimes even keen
and don’t forget that bees are known for buzz whilst making honey
I’ll finish off this verse for you when you have sent the money!

This line made me LOL:
There are so many vices to which I could succumb.

I suggest we succumb to them all. Vices are wonderful things

Yes. I will perform one act of random kindness and succumb to one vice daily. That should keep the books balanced.

Procrastination can be a wonderful hobby, and, looked at through the right lens, could even save lives. What if Mao or Hitler or Stalin had just sat around putting off mass murder and watching Netflix?
