Haikus that are liked Probably have merit though May not be haikus
It’s rarely about emotion and heartfelt art it’s the counting parts

My ones today cover a similar concern as it happens. (Must get used to comments on others blogs not having any editing…)
I’ve written many Error strewn comments in haste I’ve regretted none
The number of haiku I’ve managed to do..? None that I can count.
A fine observea- -tion, but haiku are ea- -sy with no standards
I’m afraid to say It’s easier to write Novels than haiku
That may well be so But bad haiku are quicker For empty content
It seems the rules are there are no rules so carry on regardless

If no rules apply Then I’ll continue to write Many bad haikus
I think Darlene could relate to what you’ve said. She was great at counting syllables.
It’s a lost art in many ways
