Probably doesn’t apply if she nods off while I’m driving on the M25 though?
True… a motorway cafe car park?
My daughter check-mates me there too – she wakes up when the car stops moving…

10CC sang: ‘It’s daybreak in the land of Nod, so go to sleep you little sod,’ That used to go through my head frequently when my kids were small.

That could be my new anthem
It was mine for a few years.
A teaspoon of gin then you can sleep in!
I’m going to need more gin than that. Oh, you mean for her…
Great poem I remember those days, How about this??
Eat like a Birdie Messy distracted and gone Also like a child
Definitely messy, but the high chair keeps her in place and I ignore her plaintive cries of resistance.
She’ll figure out how to slip out, or undo the tray sooner or later
She’s getting closer each day
A sad fact for parents. A sadder fact for innocent and unaware parents!
May you live in interesting times.
