Gone away is all hope now
Here to stay is a new low
The queue looks so long
As we don’t go along

At the junction we can try a new route
And pretend that it will some how commute
The time that we tarried
Though we know that
We’ll just rejoin the gridlock
Further down

Later on
We’ll still be here
As our dreams disappear
And we have to delay
All the plans that we’ve made
