Ah, yes. I recall such times.

At least when she’s crying there is something to try and ‘make better’ but happy and awake is a puzzle I can’t solve

Catching up on sleep today?

I’m not sure how that fits in with my child’s plans…

When you’re jolted awake
At dawns early break
Do you rue that drunken inconceivable mistake?
There is little denying
Healthy lunged wee ones are trying
But ’tis sad to see a grown man crying.
(Only joshing, love my kids. But glad they’re grown…)

I love mine too but sometimes I love her more when she’s asleep

As long as they are laughing WITH you and not AT you.

Ironically I wrote this a few days ago but it reflects today quite well

The artist has perfectly captured that “I have another dirty nappy for you” look. Oh, hang on – wrong post!

Yes, not guilty on this one although it is an unerring likeness considering that it is not actually a drawing of my child.

An Ode to Little Proclaims (you figure out the music)
When I was younger I stayed up all night with woman
Now there is a woman who keeps me up all night
She is smaller than the others
But I love her more
Enjoy these days my friend. You may as well you really don’t have a choice
Stay well and Laugh when you can
