    It is about time
    To remark on his haiku
    But not enough time

      Never enough time
      But health and safety training
      Takes far too much time

As Douglas Adams once said: “I love deadlines. I love the wooshing sound they make as they shoot past.”

You never have to wonder if someone has read a post if it’s a haiku. Everyone reads a haiku because the best thing about a haiku is it’s short. This is just a fact. Short posts are satisfying. (Have you started full-frontal teaching yet or does that start after Labor Day?)

The teaching proper starts tomorrow (although we don’t have Labor Day). I don’t do much teaching these days so I’m not in the classroom until Wednesday, but I’ll be dealing with all of the anxious students (and parents!) until then
