You never have to wonder if someone has read a post if it’s a haiku. Everyone reads a haiku because the best thing about a haiku is it’s short. This is just a fact. Short posts are satisfying. (Have you started full-frontal teaching yet or does that start after Labor Day?)
The teaching proper starts tomorrow (although we don’t have Labor Day). I don’t do much teaching these days so I’m not in the classroom until Wednesday, but I’ll be dealing with all of the anxious students (and parents!) until then
