A Poem About My Main Function As A Parent

I tell my child not to jump on the bed
Instead she prefers to jump on my head
She has the most adorable toes
Though less endearing when kicking my nose
But sometimes she does give my head a rest
And chooses instead to jump on my chest
My daughter is a little jumping bean
And I am her daddy the trampoline

You love them, but they do really hurt sometimes don’t they?

It made me think of my grandchildren. Nicely done and very true.

Oh ,how this grizzled Dad tenderly recalls
Unrestrained offspring bouncing off his- walls.

With a good bounce she could draw on the ceiling!

There is a super jumping bean button automatically triggered when parents go on Facetime to show off their little darlings to grandparents!

I do genuinely love being a father, for all the bruises I acquire…
