Christmas Day is over
But it Christmas isn’t gone
Because the house is full of festive food
So the party must go on
I really must stop eating
But there’s so much left to eat
And chocolate’s now a staple
It’s no longer just a treat
I’m concerned that it’s not healthy
And I’ve gained weight I fear
But I find it hard to really care
That’s a problem for next year

It seems James’ waist’s expanding
But waste not want not reigns
The more he clears the cupboards
The more his tummy pains!

To be fair I have now built up quite an impressive tolerance.

Christmas is a time to celebrate
Wash down a glass, clean your plate,
And the hell with Weight Watchers-
Expand your belt a few more notches.

I know just what it is you mean
We’re idling in the doldrums
Waiting for the next excuse to
Oncemore overfill our tums

Overeating time is here
Weight might be gained I fear
But ease your mind, the glass is near
This is why He created beer
May The farce be with us
