Another Twixmas Poem

The Christmas presents have long been unwrapped
And the tree has seen better days
But still the Twixmas party goes on
Though it all seems a bit of a haze

I’m not even sure what day it is
Or when I last left this room
I’ve eaten my own weight in chocolate
But there are more calories to consume

I think I might have gone feral
My dignity has gone AWOL
But there is no reason to worry
I’ve still got plenty of alcohol

I was wondering how you stayed so cheerful. Turns out you are mainly beerful.

Thank you for noticing. It’s the result of many hours of procrastination
