Once a young man travelled to Reading
He didn’t know where he was heading
He was aiming for Slough
But he won’t go there now
Cos he’s far too late for his wedding

    I don’t think we took it autobiographical
    To do so would simply be laughable
    But I wonder about the sledding
    Around the town of Reading

    The good thing about this is that it clears up any mystery around how you pronounce Reading.
