And so another A-Z comes to an end. From tomorrow I will no longer be writing about music from the noughties. I may not be writing about anything at all. Or I may be writing about something. Only time will tell.
In another 11 months I may well decide to complete my trilogy of A-Zs by writing about music from the 2010s. Although I was somewhat less young during that decade and I’m not sure how nostalgic any of the music makes me feel. But I did enjoy a lot albums from the 2010s, even if it was largely a decade when listening to entire albums was no longer the norm.
But before we get to any future blog posts, we must conclude this one. And I have had to cheat a little bit for ‘Z’.
But it doesn’t really matter because this was all a bit pointless anyway.

Z is for Who Killed…… The Zutons
In the absence of any albums that began with ‘Z’, I’ve gone with a band that begins with ‘Z’. Their debut album was almost eponymous but for some reason they decided to stick the ‘Who Killed……’ bit in front of their name. But it’s a pretty good album and they couldn’t possibly know they’d be ruining a inconsequential alphabetical blogging challenge some seventeen years later.
The Zutons are probably best known for a track off their second album, Valerie. It was by far their biggest hit, but an even bigger hit for Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse. But they were far from a one-hit wonder and all three of their albums are worth a listen.
Their debut might not have tracks that made such a dent on the singles charts as it’s successor, but as a complete album it is my favourite. So much so that I wasn’t quite sure which track to pick to conclude todays proceedings. Hopefully you’ll agree with my choice. Maybe you will, maybe you won’t but the track to see us off is You Will You Won’t.
you will you wont ….. teasing us to he end. How fitting.

We’ve all enjoyed a bit of auto correct fun at one time or another. Today marks the first time, in a long time, that I have no posts lined up for imminent publication. But a lack of inspiration has never stopped me posting before, so I expect I’ll blog again soon.

I’ve never heard of The Zutons before. The sound and look like they’re nostalgic for the 1970s which creates a nostalgia chain.
Congratulations on completing your very entertaining A to Z!
