There have been a few times this month when I have almost fallen asleep while writing these posts, but tonight I’m even more tired than usual.
So my usual preamble prior to revealing today’s word count, is going to have to be brief for fear that I will doze off any moment.
I haven’t managed to write very much of my novel due to my difficulties remaining conscious this evening. In the end I had to call it day when I hit 128 words. Not that there was anything particularly significant about the number ‘128’ but that did seem to be the point as which I began to lose the battle. Insignificant though that effort may seem, it has pushed me past 15,000 words, and my grand total now sits at 15,067. Which seems like it deserves some sort of acknowledgement.
I have subsequently rallied in order to write this post for what it’s worth.
But now I must head off to bed.
Writing in my sleep is still a skill that eludes me alas.
