After a fairly underwhelming few days of NaNoWriMo-ing, I appear to have roared back into life this evening. While the prospect of being a NaNoWriMo ‘winner’ has clearly escaped me, I still hold on to the very real dream of being, what I’m now dubbing, a NaNoWriMo ‘runner up’ by getting half-way to the original goal and writing 25,000 words.
Even that goal looked to be slipping away for the past few days, but I have rallied and verily stormed today’s NaNoWriMo word count, producing no less than 2024 words. This now brings my grand total up to 17,353 at the close of play.
All of which I’m quite pleased with.
