It’s the penultimate day of NaNoWriMo, which I am quite glad about because, as much as I have enjoyed attempting (and largely failing) to write a full length novel this month, I could do with a bit of rest from it all.
I’m set to finish on around 25000 words, which is only half that of a ‘winning’ NaNoWriMo novel, but it’s still a pretty respectable amount to have written in 30 days.
I’m still not quite at 25000 words yet. I had hoped to be by today, but it was a long day at work and I only managed a relatively small 205 words this evening. Which brings me up to 24827 in total.
I still have one day left, so I’m sure I can write the remaining 173 words before I get to the finish line.
And then I’ve got the rest of my life to finish writing the rest of the book.
Although hopefully I’ll finish it more quickly than that.
