We’re now three weeks into my blogging renaissance, which I think is far enough in that I really should stop drawing attention to how many weeks it’s been. But it has been three weeks if you are interested.

And actually, it has also been three weeks if you’re not interested.

I’m often accused of repeating myself on this blog. Which is not something I intend to do.

Except on Sunday, when the entire point of my new blogging regime is to offer up a repeat viewing of the posts that came earlier in the week. Also on Thursdays, when I offer up a repeat of a post I published a long time ago. So when I point you in the direction of my Thursday post on my Sunday post, that is very much a repeat of a repeat.

So perhaps I do repeat myself. Which is not something I intend to do. Except on Sunday. Which is today. So I shall. Repeat myself that is.

The Week That Was: A Rundown

  • Monday: I posted a strange little snapshot of life in the Proclaims household which I called Daily Ice-Cream is Only for Daddies.
  • Tuesday: Tuesday’s arrangements remain very much in the TBC category. I hope to update that status imminently. But I didn’t manage to this week.
  • Wednesday: Wednesday is my lazy haiku day and this week I wrote something I have called The Half-Empty Paradox. Which sounds intriguing, does it not?
  • Thursday: Another throwback. I still seem to be throwing right back to the beginning at the moment, but it turns out that some of my very early posts are well worth revisiting. Well done, younger me. Enjoy my early work by clicking the link for Throwback Thursday: Trying Too Hard to Be Clever Since 2015.
  • Friday: I finally managed to move away from meta-poetry and instead wrote a poem about shoes called Sole Survivor.
  • Saturday: Saturday remains a day of nothing much, which is ironic because that’s probably when I write a lot of the stuff that ends up being posted on the other days.
  • Sunday: Sunday is of course reserved for this.

And that’s us all caught up for another week.

Hopefully, I didn’t repeat myself too much. Because that’s not something I intend to do.

About the Podcast

Welcome to James Proclaims – a blog that catalogues the whimsy of a man who probably should know better but who seems determined to demonstrate that he doesn’t.
