As things stand, Episode 7 is the final episode of my solo podcast.

It was the last one I made, back in August, when, thanks to having the house to myself for a few days, I managed to find the time to make self-indulgent podcast episodes that no-one either wanted or needed.

I haven’t subsequently made any more, and I’m not entirely sure if I will.

Not because I care that I have an audience of only two confirmed listeners.

Actually, I’m pretty proud of the fact that this project attracted any listeners at all.

It’s more because the logistics of making this, while continuing to make my other podcast — the one I do with my friend Ben — is proving to be quite challenging in a world in which I live with two small children and have a full-time job.

And the Ben and James one does have a few devoted listeners.

Not huge numbers, but definitely enough to justify continuing to make it.

But I would also like to keep making James Podclaims.

So I will try.

Hopefully there will be an Episode 8 next week.

But if not, I somehow managed to make Episode 7 my longest episode yet, so if it is my podcast swan song, it’s not a bad way to go out.
