Still I persist with this, my nonsensical efforts at a solo podcast/vodcast/vlogammy thing.

I don’t know what I hope to achieve, but I do find it weirdly cathartic.

So I’ll probably keep on making it.

Although it was a lot easier to do this during the school holidays.

Having a job is definitely getting in the way a bit.

I still can’t quite work out how to get the lighting and the sound right.

But that’s mainly because I’m recording these at home rather than in a studio.

Actually, I think it’s becoming pretty clear that the USB microphones are not as good as the XLR microphones, so it probably is worth me taking a bit of time to set that up next time.

Then again, I recorded this one at an unearthly hour in the morning in order to fit around the fact that I live with other people.

I’m certainly learning more and more about how not to do this.

In episode 1, I predicted it would take me until episode 20 to get this right, but it’s alarming how accurate a prediction that was.

And if we ignore the horrendous light and sound, I think it is clear I am getting a bit better at this overall.

So that’s something.
