Well it’s day 15 of blogging 101 and we’ve made it. Just one more task to complete and I can become an officially licensed blogger.
So what have I learnt?
Well the main lesson would probably be that blogging about blogging, even when you’re doing it ironically, has a limited appeal.
I’d like to thanks those of you that have stuck with me this far. I know it hasn’t been easy…
I’d also like to congratulate all of my fellow Blogging 101ers. I hope we can stay in touch.
Maybe we could have some kind reunion event next year?
But I’m getting ahead of myself, for there is one more task to complete.
It is this:
Develop a regular feature for your blog.
Oh but I will.
I have so many ideas. As long as the feature can be my name followed by a verb, much like the title of this blog…
…only they wouldn’t all need to rhyme because that could limit my options…
Some ideas are:
James Complains – a regular feature where I complain about stuff.
James Reviews – a regular feature where I review stuff.
James explores – a regular feature where I explore stuff.
You get the idea.
These and many more features will soon start appearing on these pages.
But here’s the twist, for I can reveal that in some kind of clever ‘meta’ way, I’ve been producing my first feature for the last three weeks. It’s been a feature about learning to blog.
It’s my new Blogging 101 feature!
We don’t have valedictorians in the UK, but Blogging 101 is international so I’m giving myself the title of Blogging 101 Valedictorian – Class of June 2015.
I think we can all agree that I deserve it.
Hey, just wondering, why is it not possible to ‘like’ your posts from the blog reader? Is it just you playing hard to get with the ‘like’s or some sort of technical glitch?
Also James Complains sounds like it could be fun

I’d have to say technical hitch. I’m all about the ‘likes’…
Thanks for letting me know and welcome back, it’s been a while!

Valedictorian? I call Salutatorian.
James Complains sounds up your alley. Hmm… or James Jokes!

I like James Complains because it rhymes. Memorable. Why does blogging about blogging have limited appeal?

Don’t get me wrong – as a new blogger I find it quite helpful and interesting to read about blogging – but as I’m both new to the genre and therefore have only a limited knowledge it’s probably best I leave it to the experts for now…
