It’s Sunday again, and I’ve got what I call Sundaynightitis, but what the cool kids call the Sunday Scaries. I wrote about that back in 2015. It was the seventh post I ever wrote for this blog. It probably could feature in my new(ish) Throwback Thursday feature. Which is where I repost one of my old posts from this very blog on a Thursday.

But I doubt it will, because I’ve written better stuff than that over the years, and if I just repost everything I ever wrote on this blog one post at a time on consecutive Thursdays then we’ll never make it out of 2015. And I wrote some really good stuff in 2018. I’m sure of it. So it’d be nice to get to that eventually. We probably don’t need to worry about 2019 though. But I wrote loads in 2020 and some of that has to be worth revisiting. So I probably won’t repost the Sunday Scaries post. Although I have linked to it above, because the whole point of my new(ish) Sunday Summary feature is to post links to stuff I wrote before. Which is different to Throwback Thursday, where I repost one post in its entirety.

No, really it is.

Fortunately my new(ish) blogging schedule does allow for some new content and I have written some of that this week too.

Monday I wrote about how I recently became an actual black belt in an actual martial art, which is something. Although as you’ll discover if you click the link, the belt is actually a dark navy blue.

Tuesday is still not a thing yet. I mean it is. It’s a day of the week. But as yet it’s not a day of the week I post anything on this blog. But I am planning to soon.

Wednesday is the day for the lazy haiku. I wrote one about global warming this week.

Thursday is very much the aforementioned Throwback day. And throw back I did. All the way to slightly before the Sunday Scaries post. This one is about me getting mugged… for a mug. Intriguing, eh?

Friday is my poetry (but not haiku) day. And this week I wrote a poem about drinking water. Which may be more interesting than it sounds. But may also not be.

Saturday is a day I write nothing and I think I intend to keep it that way for the time being.

Which brings us up to Sunday. Which is this. Whatever this is.
