Happy Star Wars Day everyone!
I’m not sure when people started celebrating ‘Star Wars Day’ on May the Fourth. I’m not even sure if people do celebrate it. And although I could just look up the answers to both of those things on the internet, I’m not going to.
Because I don’t really care. I often think of myself as being a huge fan of Star Wars but at the same time I’m know I’m not really a huge fan at all. I do really like the movies, even the bad ones, but I don’t take them all that seriously and I definitely don’t have an encyclopaedic knowledge of them. I do also like other movies. And other stuff in general.
But last year I did extend the flimsy premise of ‘Star Wars Day’ to the entire month of May and I wrote Star Wars related posts for 31 consecutive days.
I quite enjoyed doing it. I got to revisit all of the movies and associated TV shows. Even the bad ones. Which was a good way of taking my mind off the, then still fairly new, pandemic.
And although it was an entirely pointless undertaking, I was quite pleased with the results for the most part.
So I thought I’d post links to all 31 posts here, today. And I expect I’ll do exactly the same thing next year. And quite probably the year after that.
