2018 was very much a year of two halves for me as a blogger. From January until May, I posted daily as I completed a 200-posts-in-in-200-days blogging streak that I started at the end of 2017. From the end of May onwards I posted very little. This was mainly due to the fact that I became a dad for the first time. Although Little Proclaims didn’t join us until August, the ‘about-to-become-a-new-parent’ stuff started getting quite intense in June and frankly blogging was the last thing on my mind.
I did rally a little at the end of 2018, although it wasn’t really until 2020 that I rediscovered the ‘blogging form’ that I enjoyed in the early part of 2018.
