Garlic

Last night’s meal was lovely
It went down very well
But sad to say it’s left behind
A less than pleasant smell

The garlic, herbs and spices
That made our taste buds smile
Have rendered our abode
Really rather vile

So yes the meal was tasty
A pleasure to consume
But was it worth the horror
Of this pungent, fetid room?

  5. Oh, yes. The aftermath of a tasty meal can be less than lovely. You expressed it very well. Made me smile.

  6. I don’t care how badly I smell! If everyone ate garlic no one could smell it so I suggest eating it. It’s good for you too. I loved your cartoon and poem!
