I don’t wish to sound ungrateful
My weekends are never hateful
But sometimes they can be quite dull
Though busy and quite often full
Straightforward as weekends can be
Is how my weekends are for me
But though there are moments of fun
None of them involve a gun
In my garden there’s no space
For shooting weekends to take place
No that would be quite untoward
And very far from straightforward
Perhaps I don’t quite understand
The fun to be had on Crown land
I don’t really have a clue
What it’s like to be Andrew
Though royally, I must confess
I have been to Pizza Express
More than once to tell the truth
Indeed, quite often in my youth
But I don’t mix with the jet set
I’m quite often known to sweat
And (if it’s not a touch tone-deaf)
I never had a friend called Jeff
I’m not about to relocate
But I share a common trait
With Andrew that I can evince
For just like he, I’m not a prince.

Free fallen in the esteemation of his subjects. What a disappointment to Mother brother and (al)most others.

I think we can all be content if not being a prince is all we share with that man…
