Oh how we celebrate
When our small child defecates
In a plastic potty
What makes us so happy
Is the absence of a nappy
And no poo on the floor
Next comes the toilet proper
A genuine showstopper
The logistics are quite hard
But we’ll keep the champagne on ice
For that parental paradise
When she wipes her own bum

In my experience it is not that they wipe their own bums, it’s what they do it on…

A self-cleaning child
seems rather unlikely
so our bathroom is tiled
and hosed down nightly!
