I can remember the days of going through Jeffrey’s Hallowe’en candy after he was in bed asleep. Now I realize I was just being a responsible parent. It’s good to finally understand the compulsion to eat those little chocolate bars. Parental love is so strong.
Nothing left but a box of empty promise, empty wrappers and those few sad and lonely ghastly Turkish Delights. Now that IS proactive parenting, such concern about your childs future dental needs!

Yep, just tell them you are providing them with lots of pretty shiny paper to use for their next art/collage and they seem to be happy enough…
