This One Could’ve Gone Either Way…

Welcome to another instalment of Artist’s Corner.

After a slightly surreal couple of weeks I decided to go in a different direction this week and drew a portrait of Mrs Proclaims and me.

The likeness is uncanny.

Still, there was a slight chance that my beloved wife would be offended by the above interpretation of us…

Fortunately she found it charming and has even kept the original paper copy for herself.

Then again, with ‘talent’ like mine, there’s every chance that scrap of paper could be worth millions one day.

She’s very shrewd, that wife of mine…

Imagine turning on the computer first thing in the morning and this being the first thing you see. Now I hate mornings and a smile at such an hour, is akin the fissures of Hell opening up. But that picture managed to illicit such a response. In other words, that is a seriously cute picture.

Be honest, have you just taken a photo on your phone?

You make a very cute couple! I’m hoping I’ve sorted the issue with not seeing your posts – the email notifications had been turned off. So fingers crossed, your next post should pop up in my inbox 🙂

Looks like it was a problem my end – apparently no-one has been seeing my posts in their reader for months. I’m not sure why I didn’t realise – I thought it was odd that a lot of my blogging friends had disappeared but I assumed it was just the fickle nature of the blogosphere…

Oh no! But I’m glad at least that you were finally alerted to it being an actual problem and not just some blog exodus. Every time WordPress does an update something alters that messes things up.

Sadly it’s still ongoing – my old posts have appeared in the reader now but my latest one still hasn’t. It’s irritating because every time I ask them to fix it I have to go through the whole thing again with a new person…
Fingers crossed they fix it soon…

Try using your mobile to post, rather than laptop or PC. Oh, hang on a bit, I seem to recall…….Ow, stop hitting me!!!!!
