She’s certainly good at getting her point across…

Mine wants me to take her to the park but doesn’t seem to understand that there might not be many people there at 7:30.

Would you please keep the noise down next time – you woke me up! (that was me sleeping on the bench)

I’m still betting you had a better sleep than me…

All my sympathies. I have been there, done that, got the bags under my eyes to prove it.

You’d think there’d be some kind of pay off at the end of the day but she’s not especially inclined to have an ‘early night’ either…

Thanks to you, James, I have written the “haiku” story and just posted it. It was one of the most shocking moments in my teaching career! ( thelonelymeatball.ca). Of course, you know this comment is more of my shameless self-promotion and my effort to try to seduce a few of your followers to visit my blog. I do love your haiku poems, however.

Not averse to a bit of shameless self promotion – hope it works and I’ll definitely pop over and read your story

We’ve all been there! Part of the joys of parenthood, I’m afraid 😊

It balances out – when you become accustomed to the sleep deprivation there are a lot of positives. But I am very tired…

Ou first born did that to us, too. In some ways it’s surprising we had a second, but that may explain the 5+ year gap between them…
